There are so many one-pot pasta recipes online, so writing this one may seem pointless. However, given my boyfriend’s reaction to this simple yet delicious recipe, I thought I would share it with you guys. If you’re stuck for dinner ideas this week, enjoy!
Easy one-pot pasta
- Any pasta of your choice
- 1/2 jar Pesto
- 2 tbsp tomato puree
- 1 shot red wine
- Shake of salt and pepper
- OPTIONAL – nutritional yeast
- Follow the instructions on your pasta packet to make sure you cook the right amount.
- Once ready, drain most of the pasta and throw it back into the pan.
- Turn down the heat if you haven’t already and throw in the rest of the ingredients and stir.
AND THAT’S IT!!!
There is literally nothing fancy about this, but the combination of pesto and wine really packs a punch! You can also throw in extra ingredients such as fresh tomatoes, mushrooms, or even olives if you’d like to add a puttanesca twist.
